Sustainable Tourism Accredited

In 2024, MCEC became officially Sustainable Tourism Accredited, having demonstrated sustainability achievements and commitments in delivering high-quality services.

EarthCheck Platinum Certified

In 2024, MCEC was awarded Platinum certification after meeting Earth Check Company Standard requirements.  It makes us one of only five convention centres in the world to achieve Platinum or Master certification.

MCEC is the first convention centre in the world to be awarded a 6-star Green Star environmental rating.
