MCEC Welcomes Four Huge Events This Weekend

MCEC welcomes four major events to the venue this weekend with over 21,000 people expected to attend across the board.

Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) is excited to welcome four large events to the venue this weekend, with the Cake, Bake & Sweets Show, the Spa and Pool show, the Backyard and Garden Show and the Pregnancy, Babies and Children's Expo.

With a joint expected attendance of more than 21,000, MCEC will be buzzing with activity, helping to bring life back to Melbourne and welcome business to the surrounding precinct.

The Cake Bake & Sweets Show is Australia's biggest live event for baking and cake decorating enthusiasts, foodies, and families, and will include three days of live demonstrations, seminars, hands-on classes, competitions and the nation's biggest cake showcase "Bakesale Art Of Cake Competition".

The Pool and Spa show will showcase the latest products while the Backyard Garden Show sister expo next door will offer outdoor entertainment ideas.

The Pregnancy, Babies and Children’s Expo is back, and as Australia’s biggest parenting Expo, they have a full program of free talks and hands-on classes by trusted and experienced experts on a broad range of relevant topics, and they are the only place outside of hospitals where women can easily access free antenatal classes.

MCEC Chief Executive Peter King said he is excited to have such a diverse offering of events across the weekend.
