MCEC Sharing the Easter Spirit

Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre’s (MCEC) Planning team were very egg-cited to create an Easter feast on Tuesday for our charity partners, Launch Housing and the Good Friday Appeal.

The team headed to the MCEC kitchen to for a masterclass on how to make hot cross buns and chocolate Easter egg from venue’s award-winning pastry team. They produced a range of hot cross buns with flavours including: traditional, chocolate and cranberry and white chocolate, which were then sold to MCEC employees.

The money raised was donated towards the Good Friday Appeal, which MCEC looks forward to hosting tomorrow.

The chocolate eggs created by the planning team, were added to the already generous collection of Easter eggs donated by MCEC staff for Launch Housing. The Launch Housing team collected the eggs to deliver to families at their South Melbourne and Cheltenham sites, just in time for Easter.

An egg-ceptional result for the Planning team and all MCEC employees who generously donated eggs and purchased hot cross buns to support our valued charity partners.
