If you are an existing MCEC customer:
You may film and/or photograph within the location and duration of your licensed tenancy.
If you are seeking permission to film and/or photograph outside of your licensed tenancy, please contact your Event Planner.
If you are not an existing MCEC customer, you need to:
Complete the form below and wait to receive a confirmation email from us letting you know if your request is approved or if we need anything else.

This info is relevant for commercial or media requests only. Students and non-commercial requests don’t need public liability insurance.
In order to film or photograph at MCEC you must have public liability insurance.
Once your form is successfully submitted you will receive an email requesting you attach a copy of your public liability insurance.
We will be unable to progress your application until this information is supplied.
In agreeing to these Film and/or Photography Shoot Terms and Conditions you (the Responsible Party) indemnify MCEC (including Centre Parties) and its staff against all loss, damage, costs, claims and expenses incurred by MCEC under or in connection with your Film and/or Photography Shoot, including (but not limited to) any public liability claims made against MCEC arising directly or indirectly from your use of MCEC and/or other designated areas.
The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Trust (MCET) operates the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) on behalf of the State Government of Victoria.
MCET collects your personal information for the purposes of completing the enquiry below and will use the information for the primary purpose or a directly related purpose.
You understand that the personal information provided is for the purpose of this enquiry and shall otherwise remain private within MCET unless disclosure is required by law.
You may apply to MCET for access to and/or amendment of the information. Requests should be made to MCET’s Privacy Officer via privacy@mcec.com.au .
