Centre for Adult Education
The Centre for Adult Education (CAE) runs short courses, accredited and nationally recognised training, and partnerships with government and industry. CAE receives government funding through the Adult Community and Further Education Division (ACFE), which supports CAE to deliver accredited courses designed to help adults complete their secondary education and begin or change their career direction. The centre also runs a wide range of stimulating short courses. In operation for more than 65 years, CAE’s mission is transforming lives through the power of learning. From walking tours to cupcake classes, photography tours to yoga workshops, crocheting to Feldenkrais, there really is a short course for everyone. Skills-based short courses and accredited courses cover a range of areas including hospitality, journalism, wellbeing, computing, trade skills and digital design.
