A/V tailored to the space

We understand that you’re going to need A/V equipment no matter what event you’re organising. That’s why every room in the convention centre comes with preinstalled, high-definition 16:9 data projectors and audio equipment tailored to the space. We also have a centralised A/V control room. This allows us to remotely solve problems so your event will run smoothly.
Free Wi-Fi

We know that utilising the latest technology is critical to making your event run smoothly. We’re the first convention centre in Australia to offer free Wi-Fi, and we’re constantly implementing new technologies.
Great events are in the details

From digital signage throughout the centre to a range of extras including event recording and video streaming, MCEC has the finer points of your events covered. We also offer digital media distribution, cable TV, electronic whiteboards and Q&A, lapel and table mics.
Intelligent Lecterns

The Intelligent Lectern will make your life easier. You no longer have to attach your laptop into the A/V system. Simply plug in a USB drive containing your presentation and you’re good to go. And from this single portal you can also control room lighting and A/V equipment and contact tech support.
