Nigella Lawson visited our kitchen last week in preparation for her appearance in the sold out ‘Theatre of Ideas' sessions that ran on the 12 and 13 March at the MCEC as part of the 2011 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.

Nigella is a mega successful author, TV presenter, cookbook writer and journalist who hails from London. After sampling the MCEC's mouth watering strawberries, Nigella tweeted about our regional suppliers, Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm in Main Ridge, Victoria.

As a partner of the 2011 festival we also hosted the popular Acqua Panna Wine Experience and Perfect Match at the MCEC.

Congratulations to Stephen Davis, M.D. FRCP,FRACP who was honoured in February at the International Stroke Conference in Los Angeles with the ‘William Feinberg Award for Excellence in Clinical Stroke' for his contributions to the investigation and management of stroke.

Stephen has been a Club Melbourne Ambassador since 2005.
